A history rife with suspicion of scandal

Well well well, turns out life really does imitate art. The 3 generationally-related mystery series I'm working on, along with the ever so fun WGC non-mystery series, involve a slew of real places and people. I was scouring the internet today for some historical dates in which to insert a fictional scandal, and lo and behold, it was served up on a platter. Having a ball. God bless the internet!
